Where The Action Begins:

• In his backyard/house, his best friend(dog) is sick and Junior is eager to help him. He asks his parents whether they could get the dog to the clinic and that whatever moeny is spent he will pay back, though his parents tell him that it would cost thousands of dollars which they cant afford. So in order to resolve the issue and end the dogs suffering, the father took a shot gun and with regret shot the dog.

 Where The Key Events Happened:

• The middle of the story describes how Junior starts high school in the rez and we are directly taken to his first class, algebra. he inds himself irritated,as he is handed his mothers former textbook. He gets irritated and throws it at his teacher. On the last day of his suspension, he is sitting on his porch at his house when hes teacher comes to see him, he tells Junior ti get away and follow his dreams. So, Junor following his teachers advice enrolls into an all-white school, it is outside of the rez, and in Reardan, a secluded town. 

Where Events ended:

• He starts going to the school right away, the school is different than the one on the reservation. Junior is treated as trash. Though, throughout it all he finds happiness, he meets a girl named Penelope and starts to like her. The story from then on keeps changing between the reservation and the high school, whether hes in the cafeteria, at the library, at home, in his bed, and etc.
